Sterling Silver bracelet inscribed with the Shema Yisrael prayer in Hebrew and a portion in English: Hear Israel * the Lord is our G-d * the Lord is one.
7-7/8 inner circumference
Considered the most important tefillah prayer in Judaism, it is both a declaration of belief in one G-d and affirmation of faithin him. The entire Shema Yisrael (or sh’ma yisroel) tefillah prayer is found in Deuteronomy 6:4-9, 11:13-21, and Numbers 15:37-41 and is recited twice daily . This unusual bracelet has been finely engraved with lines of the V’ahavta [Deuteronomy 6:5-9], the first portion of the prayer. The two letters ayin ע and dalet ד are enlarged in the first sentence, together forming the word eid, meaning witness, a testament to the sovereignty of God.
